Patty put these questions about the blog under the Welcome message below.
Okay, David, I have accepted your challenge. Here is my question: do these comments get categorized   or does a reader have to read thru every entry to find the ones of interest?
Do people usually bookmark the blogs they participate in so that they are easily accessed?
Do people usually look regularly at the blog so as to keep up?
So Carole, Yetta & I have been conversing about the posting of syllabi . . .could that conversation be     on the blog?
If we wanted to have an ongoing discussion of syllabi and wanted to post syllabi for our colleagues     who are members of AZLTE to view, would we be able to do that?
[I'll put my response in the comments. DB]

Patty, and all,
1. I think that categorizing all the comments is more elaborate than we want to be on the page, all responses can be copied and pasted into any order
we'd like to elsewhere.
2. Definitely book mark the page. I have it in the book marks bar.
3. Regular blob visits keeps one abreast of the discourse
4. Any conversation can be on the blog.
5. posting syllabi would clog things up a bit on this page, but we could use the links column to connect to web pages where the syllabi are found.

Yes,going to this blog means one extra place to look when you check mail, etc. but I think the benefits of having a space for discussions without sending to the whole listserv is important.
